2021 09 20 Andrea Mandonico Prix 2As It was announced earlier (2 september 2021) , The book “Mio Dio, come sei buono. La vita e il messaggio di Charles de Foucauld” translated “My God, how good you are. The Life and Message of Charles de Foucauld” by Fr Andrea Mandonico, Sma, won the Literary Prize of Ambassadors to the Holy See 2021.The award ceremony took place at the “Palazzo Borromeo”, seat of the Italian Embassy to the Holy See on this September 20, 2021.


Father Andrea received the award from the hands of Alexandra Valkenburg-Roelofs, Ambassador of the European Union to the Holy See, In the presence of Pietro Sebastiani the ambassador Italy, other ambassadors, Fr Antonio Porcellato, the Superior General of the SMA and many other confreres SMA and honorary members of the SMA.

Many diplomats expressed their admiration, like Marija Efremova, Ambassador of Macedonia who said “the book is very special”. The award ceremony itself was highly uplifting. The Ambassador of San Marino in Lebanon was very enthusiastic about the book and the award. He found that “this kind of ceremony is highly welcome especially at this time the world is going through some difficulty”
