On June 25th, 2010, anniversary of the death of Bishop De Marion Brésillac, Founder of the Society of African Missions, 24 SMA seminarians pronounced their first oath of membership in the Society, at the end of their Spiritual Year. 20 are native of the 3 African districts-in-formation, 3 from Indian district-in-formation and 1 from the District of Canada.

At the beginning of the academic year, they will start one year of pastoral work outside their home country, before continuing their theological formation.
