June 26th, 2010, in the presence of several delegations from Italy, Ireland and France, SMA Italian Province has celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Provincial House in Genoa. The ceremony was chaired by Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, archbishop of Genoa. Fr Kieran O' Reilly, SMA General Superior, recently appointed as Bishop of Killaloe, Ireland, participated in the celebration. In this occasion, Father Lionello Melchiori, Superior Provincial, welcomed four Italian benefactors as SMA honorary members.
